naaalala mo pa ba nung bata ka pa? Sigurado ako pinipilit ka ring matulog sa tanghali ng mga parental units mo... And usually, may ganitong klaseng pag-uusap kayo ng mami mo.

Mami: O, bakit gising ka pa? Di ba sabi ko sayo matulog ka?
pag sinabi mong natulog ka na.
Mami: E san ka na naman nanggaling?
pag sinabi mo na sa tindahan.
Mami: At san ka naman nakakuha ng pera?
pag sinabi mo na sa tatay mo.
Mami: Bakit di mo na lang inipon? ano naman binili mo?
pag sinabi mo na laruan
Mami: di naman nakakabusog yan, bakit hindi ka na lang bumili ng pagkain?
pag sinabi mo na chichiria
Mami: hindi naman masustansya yan
pag sinabi mo na pagkaing masustansya
Mami: may pagkain naman dito, bakit lumabas ka pa?

See? Wala kang kawala kay Mami. Asa ka pa. Sumuko ka na lang

Ayos din pag nag--aasaran ang mga bata, yung tipong nagkakapikunan na... may mga gumagatong na at ganito ang mga taunts nila

una muna may magsasabi na: A, hawakan mo nga yung tenga!!

bata1: batukan kita dyan eh, sabihin mo tagal

bata2: tagal! tagal!

hindi babatukan ni bata1.. eto ang susunod na mangyayari

bata1: utot mo naman kulay blue! (hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin maintindihan kung bakit ka maaasar dito)

shempre, gaganti rin ng taunt si bata2

bata2: neknek mo may asin !

tapos, may mga nambubuyo pa dyan na nagsasabi, neknek mo daw may asin o!
eventually, may maaasar at manghahampas sa kaaway nya

bata2: Aray! bakit nakahampas ka! (shempre manghahampas din sya, mas malakas pa!)

bata1: (gaganti rin)

bata2: HINDI NAMAN MASAKIT! (hikbi) HINDI NAMAN MASAKIT (hikbi)

bata1: haha! iiyak na!

bata2: HIN-DIH (hikbi) NAMAN MASAHKEHT (hikbi) WAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Yan, hindi na masay yan. Dyan na makikialam ang mga matanda.

At ang usual punishments nyan ay

1. Ang generic palo sa hita and/or pwet ng ermats mo, gamit ang leather belt na brown na kasing lapad ng pera ng hapon. Ilang araw ka ding may marka nun na mamula-mula.

2. Nandyan ung ibabalot ka ng mga magulang sa kumot( hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit takot na takot ako dito noon).

3. At kung medjo sadista yung mga magulang mo, ginagawa nilang 2-hit combo yan. papaluin ka muna tapos pag kulay tocino na yung mga hita mo, saka ka nila ibabalot sa kumot.

I need to unload some data... literally. My 3 externals, hard disks that is, are full to bursting. All combined 180 GB of them. And I do not have the resources to buy another external. So if you want some scanlated manga, I'll burn them for you just bring me a cd, so that I can be rid of them. Oh, and I'm still selling donwloaded anime for 70 php per DVD. For most of the titles that I have, just check my DA

And speaking of that business, Naruto turned out to be the most popular, just as I predicted. Thank God, Bleach and Tenjou Tenge aren't popular. WHEW!

Jeepney drivers at barkers, sino nga naman ang walang nakaktuwang story sa kanila, di ba?

Barkers, sila'y may super powers na kapag soper sikip na ang jeep ay mapagkakasya pa nila ang kalahating dosena, kapag sinabi na nila na "konting ipit lang po", patay kayo... kahit isa na lang ang kasya ay sasabihin nila na apat pa. Ang Galeng!

Sa drivers naman tayo, ibang breed din tong mga to. Marami silang mga sub-categories.

Initial Dyip, madalas na makikita sa Espana to pag mga 8 pm ka na umuwi o pag papunta ka ng Antipolo o Rizal. mga tipong hindimarunong tumapak sa brakes. Asteg tong mga to, makakapunta ka sa destinasyon mo in one-fourth of the travel time.

Si Kuya Bojie naman ay ung driver na super masayahin. Okey sa kanya ang lahat ng bagay sa mundo. Parang wala syang kaproble-problema sa mundo. Ayos sana sya kaya lang, makakarating ka sa paroroonan mo nang x2 ang biyahe.

Nandyan naman din yung super ghetto hip-hopper na driver. Parang pang fast and the furious ang dyip. Oo, with matching booming stereo with sub-woofers pa yan, meron pang neon lights sa loob. Parang club, hanep. May mga ka-barkada din yung driver sa loob syempre. Parang accesories!

At huli sa lahat, kung talagang minamalas ka sa sasakyan mo, andyan si Manong, yung may dyip na tipong di na aabot sa kabilang kanto. Pero astig ang dyip ni Manong! May hydraulics ata to! yun nga lang imbes na sa magkabilang dulo ang hydraulics nito, sa gitna, at kung may taas-baba ang iba, si Manong naman ay tiklop action sa gitna. Ooo di ba?!?!?

At kung dati ay ang uso sa dyip ay ang family tree nyo sa kisame... iba na ngayon! Laos na yang family tree sa kisame na gimmick. Ang uso ngayon sa mga bagong dyip ay yung may airbrushed na portrait ng bunsong anak mo sa gilid ng driver o passenger side na pinto. At para talagang "In" ka, dapat ay merong portrait sa magkabilang pinto at may airbrushed artwork sa gilid ng body ng dyip mo, kahit wala kang ka-ide-ideya kung tungkol saan ung artwork ang importante ay cool ung gilid ng dyip mo. YEAH!

Does Renga have an art book? I've asked around with pipols and I don't think people here even know him. Haay.... maybe I'm just getting too immersed with japanese pop culture.... and I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Anyway, I just wish I knew if he had an art book or something. I first saw Renga art in my friend, RA's, japanese game... I think it's called Renaissance or something. I was really awed by his art. I mean, he can draw REALLY HOT girls without making their breasts verrry big, now that's really something. And his artwork is really cute. ASTEEEG!!!

I just heard that ZONE is disbanding... OH NO! They're one of my favorite bands..... I'll miss they're songs and most of all, they're cute faces.... yes, that's why I first listened to them, 'coz they're 4 cute japanese girls. But their music's great too. Apparently, they're going to part ways because they're going off to college and stuff... I hope they'll reunite.

And...... the tagboard's fixed! YAY!

Other than that...... it has been a very lousy day. I mean really lousy. I knew it the moment I got out of bed. I was late for a make-up laboratory class at school. On the way, the traffic was killer. I got into a disagreement with a friend. And now, a friend just told me some bad news. Months of planning down the drain. This is a pretty major downer, I mean, mp3s of Sakura Saku, Taiyou no Kiss and Luvly Merry-Go-Round couldn't even cheer me up. And it's impossible not to cheer up with those songs. Usually, those songs would put back on my feet in less than a second. I feel like a stone just dropped in the pit of my stomach. I really feel like crap right now. Not even video games had any effect....I can't even draw right. AMP!! I wish I could just crawl under a rock and die.

On top of all that, my best friend just told me she's leaving for vacation in LA after her finals week. I wish I could go with her, I miss LA ! It's been 2 yaers, DAMMIT!

~I really have gone down to the depths of Erebus... I can only hope that the God of Death won't claim me and that I come out of this still in one piece... and breathing~

excerpts from The Starbucks Principle...

Haven't you noticed how Starbucks has taken the place of Megamall, EK and Jollibee? Today, Starbucks spells gimmick. Suddenly everyone is mad about coffee, and is willing to spend a whopping hundred bucks for "one tall mocha frappe please!" or "I'll have one grande iced coffee please!" Everyone claims it's different, it's something else, it's to die for. Instead of catching a nice flick at the cinema, the Filipinos' new idea of fun is to voluntarily park their buns at the cafe and gulp all the caffeine they can.

No one knows exactly why Starbucks has become the hot spot, when what they serve is just foamed Blend 45 for crying out loud. Oh, try pointing this out to Starbucks fanatics( the likes of teeny-boppers and kikay girls), and you can expect getting attacked on how little you know about coffee. Get ready for answers like "Duh! Starbucks isn't just coffee! They're ground beans and processed chocolate and skimmed milk! What do you know about that?"

Who can resist frequenting a posh place like Starbucks? Instead of worrying about other important things, the typical kikay teenager puts on her best dress, and with her other kikay friends goes straight to Starbucks where she orders "one tall caramel frappe please!" This takes time to prepare, which is fine. She feels rewarded by the fact that the ethical barista would shout her name across the room by the timehere frappe is ready. After she claims it, she heads for the slef-service counter where she takes excessive packets of extra sugar, extra cream, inches thick of Starbucks tissue paper for souvenir. Then she sits by the front window, hoping someone she knows would pass by and see her drinking expensive coffee. She takes remarkably small sips in order to prolong her stay, like a real smart-ass.

During the process, there is the obligatory flaunting of the latest cellphones, the frequent eruptions of "yeah" and "sure" here and there. You get the impression that everyone is from the conyo sector(and they usually are).

When in Starbucks, the Pinoy is instantly made to feel he's in New York, Las Vegas, or Paris, anywhere but Manila- one reason why we Filipinos buy this flick. We are total suckers for anythingthat is western in concept. But Starbucks has gone beyond colonial mentality; it has become pure escapism. In this age of harsh realities of poverty and chaos, anything that offers oblivion and temporary indulgence sells fast. No matter how costly it is

Sad but true. A temporary illusion..... just because of the Pinoy desire to be associated and considered among the elite because well, in reality, the average Pinoy is from from that. The average Pinoy home is less attractive than a Strabucks cafe. With how we Filipinos worship that green logo, Starbucks is no longer just coffee.
